This is a complex site connecting a number their internal systems to allow for ecommerce. Who said you can't sell semen online?

Responsible for: ColdFusion/SQL, Navision integration, Pico Search, Ektron CMS. Creative by ISITE Design.

Career History:

I work for ISITE Design in Portland, Oregon and I have found my home in each. I've been with ISITE since October, 2006.

I've been in the tech industry since 1997 designing, architecting, managing and programming applications in the freelance, corporate and agency settings. I've been a developer, manager and even co-owner. The pace of agency keeps things interesting and I truly love being surrounded by brilliant, creative, honest and hardworking people.

I've worked for big names like Frank Lloyd Wright and Nike in some other agencies but big names aren't that important to me. Working with people I respect and like and working with clients who want to make the world a little better is what it's all about.

In over 14 years I've done it all and the great about this industry is that we're all still learning and growing.

I'm a creative and fastidious person.

I think doing the right thing is cool.

My dream is to retire in South America and learn to fish while somehow making a living by designing and crafting custom furniture.

I like tattoos, sports, video games and a good book. I think skateboarding and golf can co-exist.

HTML/CSS

This is what I'm happiest doing and most passionate about. I was Section 508 Compliant before Section 508 Compliance was cool.

ColdFusion

Hey, it picked me -- not the other way around. Anyway, I can comfortably code in numerous frameworks in my sleep (and likely have). It's also not as bad as you think.

JavaScript/jQuery

I'll admit I prefer the jQuery library over others simply because it's clean, easy, cheap and fast. Kinda like me.

Other Crap

I used to be actively involved in PHP, .NET, Windows/Linux Network Administration, Flash programming and a bunch of other stuff that I thought was cool but my enthusiasm these days lies in building lean, mean, accessible and awesome websites.
